Monique C. Gaines’s story is one marked by resilience, vision, an unwavering commitment to self-growth, and the empowerment of others. Born in Huntsville, Alabama. She has gracefully navigated the many stages of her journey—from a North Alabama beginnings to modeling’s national stage, from event host to entrepreneur, and ultimately as an inspiring life and meditation coach. Education played a crucial role in Monique’s development. She attended Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a historically Black liberal arts institution.
Monique’s journey is deeply intertwined with her experience as a single parent. Raising one amazing daughter, she found new depths of strength and motivation. Motherhood became a source of inspiration and purpose, fueling her determination to create a life filled with love, opportunity, and meaningful work. Monique’s professional journey began with a foray into the world of fashion, where she became a petite plus-sized national model. In an industry often defined by rigid standards, Monique stood out by celebrating body diversity and redefining beauty on her own terms. For more than seven years, she built a career that challenged conventions, inspiring countless individuals to embrace their uniqueness. Through modeling, Monique championed authenticity, encouraging others to love their bodies and honor their individuality. In addition to her modeling accomplishments, Monique became a sought-after event host. Her charismatic presence, poise, and communication skills made her a natural facilitator as the host for countless events. Stepping into leadership roles, Monique served as assistant director of the KeLeChe modeling agency. Seeing the need for holistic wellbeing in the modeling industry and beyond, Monique co-founded MiThiMmm: Holistic Mood Setters.
In 2023, Monique embarked on a new chapter. Drawing upon years of experience in modeling, event hosting, and holistic wellness, she founded The RoseGold Experience Life Coach and Meditation Guide. With this venture, Monique transformed her passion for empowerment into a full-time profession. Her company offers clients a unique blend of coaching and meditation. From Huntsville to the national stage, from college classrooms to the world of entrepreneurship, Monique C. Gaines’s story is one of courage, creativity, and compassion. Her unwavering commitment to empowerment—of herself, her daughter, and her community continues to inspire those around her.
